They are picked from short videos that are publicly available, mostly entertainment, comedy and everyday life. So it is not a lesson, it is how people actually talk. Most are in English, with clips in other languages for what you are learning. They play inside the app, and a clip that won’t load is skipped.

### Is Clips free?

Yes. Watching, live captions, word meanings and saving words are free. The full transcript translation is part of Pro.

### Can I find clips for a specific word?

Yes. On a word page you can see clips where that word is said, and jump straight to the moment it comes up.

### Does watching clips count as practice?

Watching at least half of a clip earns XP, so it counts towards your streak. Speaking practice with your AI language tutor still earns more.
